East Sussex – hrabstwo ceremonialne i niemetropolitalne w południowo-wschodniej Anglii, w regionie South East England, położone nad kanałem La Manche, we wschodniej części historycznego hrabstwa Sussex.

Powierzchnia hrabstwa ceremonialnego wynosi 1792 km², a administracyjnego – 1709 km². Jako hrabstwo ceremonialne East Sussex liczy 800 100 mieszkańców, a jako jednostka administracyjna – 526 700^[1]. Ośrodkiem administracyjnym hrabstwa jest miasto Lewes. Największym miastem hrabstwa ceremonialnego jest Brighton, które administracyjnie należy do osobnej jednostki (unitary authority) Brighton and Hove, posiadającej status city. Na terenie hrabstwa niemetropolitalnego największym miastem jest Eastbourne. Innymi większymi miastami na terenie hrabstwa są Hastings, Hove oraz Bexhill-on-Sea.

Turystyka odgrywa znaczącą rolę w gospodarce, szczególnie w południowej, nadmorskiej części hrabstwa.

Przez hrabstwo przebiega pasmo wzgórz South Downs.

Na zachodzie East Sussex graniczy z hrabstwem West Sussex, na północnym zachodzie z Surrey a na północy i wschodzie z hrabstwem Kent.
